The Directorate of Gender Equity and Respectful Treatment (DEB*) aims to address matters related to Respectful Treatment, Inclusion, and Gender Equity within the Faculty community.
- To be a space for welcome, dialogue, and inclusive communication for the entire FADEU community.
- To promote an organizational culture of best practices, respect, and good treatment, propose internal measures, and evaluate results.
- To be a space for information, support, and follow-up regarding the policies, norms, and procedures that the university has implemented in this regard.
- To identify and evaluate factors or areas where the faculty should make changes regarding actions that undermine equity, respect, and good treatment of its members. To propose internal measures and/or policies.
- To represent the UC Unit for the Prevention and Support of Victims of Sexual Violence (UVS) within the faculty, to welcome, support, and advise victims of sexual abuse or harassment.
- To support the Faculty’s academic secretariat in promoting an academic career with equal opportunities.
