The Office of Research and Graduate Studies (DIRIP) of the Faculty of Architecture, Design, and Urban Studies liaises with research centers, academic researchers, and graduate students, serving as a link and mediation bridge among them and with other public and private institutions, with the role of promoting the search for research funding.
It is also responsible for establishing international relations with other educational institutions and research centers.
In addition, it is responsible for organizing various activities around research, including the INTERSECCIONES Congress.

Architect from PUC (1997), Master in Large Scale (2002), and PhD in Architectural Projects from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (2012).
Professor at the UC School of Architecture, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in studios and research within the field of urban design, applied to the challenges of integrated thinking regarding mobility and public space. She served as Academic Deputy Director of the School of Architecture between 2014 and 2017 and Director of CMlab, the UC City and Mobility Laboratory, between 2012 and 2023. She has led various studies and projects, notably the preliminary designs for the Nueva Alameda Providencia (2015) and Explanada de los Mercados (2015) competitions, the Study and Proposal for the Urban Insertion of the Coquimbo – La Serena Tram (2016-19), and the design of the Surface Expression and Intermodality for the Line 7 Metro stations in the Vitacura district. She directed the research project “The Metro Grid: Morphological Atlas of the Santiago Metro” (National Fondart No. 633381, 2022-23) and has published articles in national and international media, such as “The Metro Grid: Transformation Patterns around Santiago Metro Stations (Chile),” Dearq No. 32, 46-58.
