Sustainability Laboratory

The Sustainability Laboratory was established to address the need for accurately measuring and projecting the energy impacts of architectural design, as applied to a specific climate, program, construction system, and location.
To this end, the laboratory is equipped with various measurement instruments for thermal, lighting, ventilation, humidity, radiation, occupancy, and air quality analysis, among others. It also features a heliodon and a wind tunnel, intended for conducting simulations based on scale models.
