The Graphic Prototyping Laboratory is an open-access space for the FADEU community that provides resources and facilities for printing, binding, experimentation, and academic research. The Laboratory’s mission is to foster and promote the graphic arts through experience based on participatory work, collaboration, and connection with traditional crafts as well as new technological possibilities. The Laboratory, which has been in operation since 2015, features artisanal and semi-industrial equipment such as a press, die-cutting machine, folding machine, substrate sample collection, and stapler, among others.
Currently, the Graphic Prototyping Laboratory hosts Design curriculum courses such as “Quality Workshop II” and the course “New Trends in Poster Design”. in addition to other outreach activities.
