Durante junio se realiz\u00f3 la versi\u00f3n 2024 de Understanding Risk<\/a>, Foro Global sobre la Comprensi\u00f3n del Riesgo, organizado este a\u00f1o en la ciudad de Himeji por el Banco Mundial. El objetivo era conocer aproximaciones para reunir a investigadoras e investigadores de todo el mundo para compartir pr\u00e1cticas y conocimientos en torno a la Gesti\u00f3n del Riesgo de Desastres (GRD) que permitieran comprender mejor las amenazas, riesgos y responder con acciones eficaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Como parte del programa de esta instancia, Ram\u00edrez y Carlson realizaron una versi\u00f3n del taller pr\u00e1ctico \u2018Resilient Communities Emergency Imagination Workshop, RCEIW\u2019 \u2013parte del proyecto Design for Emergency, que fue realizado tambi\u00e9n en Chile en 2023 junto a CIGIDEN y SENAPRED\u2013. El taller RCEIW es una actividad accesible y horizontal para empoderar y documentar la planificaci\u00f3n de emergencias dirigida por la comunidad. Reune a diversos participantes para discutir escenarios y recursos, idear estrategias, planificar de forma co-creativa las etapas de preparaci\u00f3n, prevenci\u00f3n, reacci\u00f3n, recuperaci\u00f3n, e imaginar soluciones innovadoras para futuras emergencias, desarrollando un plan eficaz para generar resiliencia en sus comunidades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seg\u00fan cuenta Rodrigo Ram\u00edrez, quienes se sumaron a esta versi\u00f3n del taller eran especialistas en GRD, lo que les permiti\u00f3 tener una valiosa retroalimentaci\u00f3n desde su experiencia: \u2018Tuvimos un p\u00fablico multicultural, de distintos pa\u00edses, lenguajes y disciplinas, la mayor\u00eda eran acad\u00e9micos, investigadores y trabajadores de distintas organizaciones, lo que facilit\u00f3 una diversidad de aproximaciones e interpretaciones sobre la utilidad de la actividad. Todas y todos fueron muy entusiastas en hacernos ver las potencialidades que el taller RCEIW puede tener para darle continuidad\u2019, comenta el investigador CIGIDEN. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Gracias a la oportunidad de presentar en el pa\u00eds asi\u00e1tico, los dise\u00f1adores observaron que las herramientas utilizadas funcionan para generar un di\u00e1logo transversal, en particular el uso de mapas de experiencia y cartograf\u00eda participativa. Por ello, proyectan el empaquetamiento de los instrumentos en un kit RCEIW, que permita organizar el taller de forma r\u00e1pida, a bajo costo y en particular, para facilitar sesiones remotas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Establecida en 2010, Understanding Risk (UR) es una comunidad global con cerca de 20 mil participantes del sector p\u00fablico, privado, academia y ONGs, quienes comparten conocimientos, experiencias e innovaciones para la evaluaci\u00f3n y reducci\u00f3n de riesgos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
