Its main function is to develop hands-on activities and experiments with light; it brings together lamps, luminaires, measuring instruments, auxiliary electrical equipment, and lighting control systems. It is available for use by the Faculty\u2019s students and teaching staff, who may carry out empirical tests that complement and deepen their knowledge, and design and develop new products and\/or lighting design strategies. Thanks to the team of professionals working in the Laboratory, lighting consulting is provided for academic projects and external services.
